I love A Story About You and I really love this take on the idea. It's just so much fun.

Dana as a scout! I really can't get enough of Night Vale scouting.

What do you think you'll read next?

As much as I'd like to jump right into the next volume of Hataraku Maou-sama!, I think I will take a break to read some shorter things. So probably some manga, but idk what. Also there's still more [community profile] fan_byproducts fics to read.

Wednesday Reading on Friday
anime me
kyuuketsukirui
Well, I deliberately saved my weekly reading post for Thursday so that it would be after the [community profile] fan_byproducts reveals and I could post my recs with author names intact, but then I was too tired and never posted, so oops. Now it's Friday.

What are you currently reading?
Bookwise, I'm still reading Hataraku Maou-sama. I'm really enjoying it a lot, but I've hardly been reading much at all, so the progress is slow. I'm about two-thirds of the way done now, so I expect I will still be reading by next week's reading post (though perhaps close to finishing). :p

Ficwise, I'm still going through all the [community profile] fan_byproducts fics. There weren't a ton of fics, but again, slow reading.

What did you recently finish reading?
Mostly Night Vale fics, but also one Attack on Titan?

The Capitol's Punishment (3413 words) by khepria
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Shingeki no Kyojin | Attack on Titan
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings, Graphic Depictions Of Violence, Major Character Death
Characters: Annie Leonhart, Erwin Smith, Hange Zoe, Levi (Shingeki no Kyojin)
Additional Tags: Body Horror, Dismemberment, Execution
Summary: Annie is awake and still breathing. She is alive, but she wouldn't call this living.

Very interesting story about Annie after her capture.

Tamika Flynn: Librarian Hunter (3836 words) by Measured_Words
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Welcome to Night Vale
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Characters: Tamika Flynn, Marcus Vansten
Additional Tags: Librarians, The Night Vale Private Library, Books, Libraries, Hunting, Nudists, Nudity, Teenagers, axes, Privilege, BAMF Tamika
Summary: Marcus Vansten has an unexpected problem at the Night Vale Private Library, but he knows just who to call.

This was so cool! It is pretty much a sequel to [personal profile] thingswithwings's How I Survived My Summer Vacation, by Tamika Flynn, Age 12 3/4, though could be read without that, since it doesn't make any explict references to what actually happened in the library (though I have to assume that if you are interested in reading about Tamika Flynn, you would have read TWW's fic!). Anyway, I really love this idea.

Stars Over Void (1181 words) by Themistoklis
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Welcome to Night Vale
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Tamika Flynn
Summary: On her first day at the station, they tell Tamika that the survival rate for Night Vale Community Radio interns is low.

Another great Tamika fic! In this one she goes on to be an intern at NVCR, which is definitely a future I approve of.

Enter this World (2323 words) by Themistoklis
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Welcome to Night Vale
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: The Angels (Welcome to Night Vale), Old Woman Josie, Cecil (Welcome to Night Vale)
Summary: The angels don't all come here on purpose. Erika's first glimpse of the human world is through the bars of a cage, and she barely manages to make it to Old Woman Josie's for help.

I love the premise! This would be really cool as the start of a longer fic, but it also works very well just on its own. There's so much of Night Vale we only see in glimpses and this fits right in with that.

Also speaking of [community profile] fan_byproducts fics, it turns out my gift fic was written by [personal profile] busaikko! No wonder I liked it so much. :D

What do you think you'll read next?
More Hataraku Maou-sama & more Night Vale fics, it looks like!

1. Day off tomorrow yayyyyyy! I only got like 3.5 hours of sleep last night* so I'm looking forward to sleeping in (of course I didn't go to bed early tonight, though; that would be too sensible).

2. The not getting sleep is 100% my own fault. I procrastinated on my [community profile] fan_byproducts assignment and then when it came down to the wire, not only did I have writer's block, but I also got sick. So I had to ask for an extension and was writing until the very last minute last night. >_< But I did get my story done and now that is over and OMG RELIEF.

3. And speaking of the fest, I got an absolutely wonderful story about Intern Dana!

She had her backpack crammed full of survival gear, including two clean pairs of socks and a lightweight sleeping bag, and she had a healthy sense of investigative journalism to keep her spirits up.

It's about her time in the Dog Park and it's so great! Just what I wanted. :D

4. I'm looking forward to reading more [community profile] fan_byproducts stories tomorrow!

5. I got two chapters of manga posted before the end of the month and should have the next chapter of A Child's Child done this weekend as well, so I'm feeling pretty good on the scanlating front. :D

Dig Here (956 words) by Cesare

Additional Tags: Time Travel, time capsule, re-education, SCIENCE!
Summary: "Dig here," Cecil told him, and Carlos has done stranger things on their dates— to be fair, he's suggested doing stranger things on their dates— so he dug there.

This is just really cute fluff. Cecil gets a tip that there's a time capsule from the future, so they head out to the desert to dig it up.

Ichabod gets sucked into wikipedia. Cute!

IDK My BFF Hermione? (19110 words) by lettered

Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings, No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter
Characters: Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Charlie Weasley, George Weasley, Hermione Granger, Susan Bones, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley
Additional Tags: Dirty Talk, Humiliation, Fingerfucking, Oral Sex, Anal Sex
Summary: Draco's a hot mess. Harry's lovin' it (hell yes).

I really liked the narrative style. I don't think I would have clicked on it from the tags and summary if it hadn't had the title it does, because the tags and summary sound pretty boring to me? But I was like "what is up with that title?" and it turned out to be a pretty hilarious fic and I liked it a lot.

I also read a chapter and some of volume three of Oofuri, but wasn't really feeling it. :-/ (Not in a "I'm giving up the series" way, but just didn't seem to be in the mood for baseball manga or perhaps manga in general.)

What do you think you'll read next?
No idea. I still seem to be doing anything but reading most of the time, but I would like to read stuff! Fic and/or manga seems most likely.

Oh, and if anyone has recs for other Sleepy Hollow fic, I'll take them!

Summary: CoS according to Ginny. Nobody noticed anything wrong for an entire year -- how did she slip so far from her family and friends? Angst and betrayal, but also mysteries, jokes, an enchanted suit of armor, and a guaranteed happy ending.

How did I never know I needed this fic in my life!? Basically it does what it says on the tin. It's Chamber of Secrets from Ginny's POV, and it's really, really good.

What did you recently finish reading?
The only other thing I've read since last week's post is volume one of Chitose Etc. by Yoshizumi Wataru. Which apparently is not her current series, as it's actually ended (seven volumes total) and she's now working on a sequel to Marmalade Boy! I guess I'm going to have to reread Marmalade Boy, then? (Unfortunately I can't seem to find scans anywhere online (I found links for both the original and bunko rerelease, but both were dead) and of course I've long since sold my own copies. Maybe I'll take a look next time I'm at Book Off and hope they have copies there.)

Anyway, Chitose Etc! It's really cute. The story is of an Okinawan girl who spends a day with a boy who's down there on vacation. She falls for him and they make plans to meet the next day, but she gets the flu and can't go. She's really upset about it and when her brother comes home to visit, she tells him and he suggests she move in with him in Tokyo and she can transfer to this boy's school (which they are able to figure out because of things he said about his school; otherwise she has no contact info for him). But on the first day of school, she finds out that this boy barely remembers her and actually already has a girlfriend.

It sounds like a silly plot, but I love Yoshizumi Wataru and am enjoying it a lot so far.

What do you think you'll read next?
If I download some more volumes of Chitose Etc. then probably that (I wasn't able to find scans, so I've got to get them off iTunes and hadn't bought more than the first volume yet).

Also Secrets has really made me want to read more HP fic, so maybe that? idk.

What are you currently reading?
Nothing! I suppose I should have quickly started something before this post so that I could have something to say here, but I didn't.

What did you recently finish reading?
Well, I finally read something other than Night Vale fic, because I finished all the Night Vale fic on my phone and have not yet gone to find more. Especially since finding more this time requires wading through AO3, since I've run out of recs.

Recs: 3 Night Vale, 1 Shingeki no Kyojin, 1 HomestuckCollapse )

I also finally got caught up on Jump! I had like seven issues to read. ^_^;; I'm enjoying Toriyama Akira's new series, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman. It's typical Toriyama humor, and the art is fantastic. Toriyama's art (Dragon Ball in particular) is one of the things that got me into manga and he's still one of my favorite artists.

I'm also liking the current One Piece storyline more now that the focus is shifting away from Luffy's battles to what's going on with Dressrosa.

What do you think you'll read next?
Really not sure. Could be more fic, could be manga. It's unlikely to be a book, though. That much I feel pretty certain about. :p (Though I suppose I should read at least a few more books before the year is up, since I think I've only read two so far, which is an all-time low.)

Summary: Carlos suspects, deep down, that this is a crucial aspect of the town's strangeness, the way that people and objects change while watching, while being watched; that he could know everything about Night Vale if he could just know this.

This was cute and funny. I loved the Secret Police character.

Summary: A typical PTA meeting in Night Vale. You know, glow cloud possession, picking senior prom decorations, fistfights over grammar, the usual. (Set post ep 27; no spoilers for ep 28.)

Oh, this was absolutely hilarious! I tend to prefer Cecil POV in fic simply because this is a canon with such a strong character voice. But on the other hand, I do like Carlos's outsider POV! Anyway, this is one of my favorite non-Cecil-POV stories. I love how Carlos is getting used to things in Night Vale, like he's just casually experimenting on this pot roast. Which happens to be sentient, but even in his POV there's no sense of "omg wtf a sentient pot roast!?"

Summary: Night Vale residents acquire the ability to read minds. Plus, an interview with the cat hovering in the men's bathroom, a new kid-centric addition to the Night Vale Daily Journal, and a message from the Night Vale Society of Confusion.

Another episode-style fic! I really enjoyed this one.

Wednesday Reading on Friday
anime me
kyuuketsukirui
Whoops. Been so busy with Irene here that I haven't had much time on the internet and didn't manage to get my reading post done on Wednesday or even on Thursday! Still, I had a lot to talk about this week and by next week will surely have forgotten, so I'd better do it now while I have a chance. :D

What are you currently reading?
Currently back to reading manga only, I guess? I'm about halfway through two different volumes, 7 Seeds 24 and Aozora Yell 11. Aozora Yell is one that I bought several months ago and it's just been sitting on my desk because I always go for my iphone instead of physical books. But since I'm not doing a book club book this round, I thought I would try and read some physical books (both prose and manga) that I have sitting around, as I really like the idea of using the book club to read non-ebooks.

I forgot how much I love Aozora Yell. How could I have forgotten? It's just so, so, so cute. (If you're not familiar with the series, you may be familiar with the author from her other series, High School Debut, which actually did get an official English release. All her stuff is the same sweet/heartwarming kind of thing.) This volume starts Tsubasa's second year, so there are a bunch of new characters introduced as new first-years join the brass band.

Meanwhile in 7 Seeds, things continue to get more and more exciting. Really, I am just absolutely blown away by the most recent turn of events. How does Tamura-sensei manage to keep coming up with these awesome ideas?

What did you recently finish reading?
Well, on Sunday I finished Go by Kaneshiro Kazuki, exactly on the last day of that book club round, so perfect timing. :) Here's my book club questions for the end of the round:

1. Are you glad you've finally read this book? Would you read more books in this genre or by this author as a result? Would you recommend this book to others?

Very glad I finally read it! Like I said in my initial post, I watched the movie over ten years ago and bought the book soon after and it's just been sitting here ever since. XD Plus it's very good timing since I'm heading to Book Off next week and taking some stuff to sell and I can include this with my manga and CDs.

I don't think the author has really written a whole lot else, and the genre is just...modern fiction/literary fiction, I guess. Which is what I mostly read in Japanese anyway. I would recommend it to anyone who can read Japanese! It's both an interesting story and a good look at what it's like to be an ethnic minority in Japan.

2. What's your favourite quote or scene from the book? Alternatively, which is your least favourite, or the one that made you think the most, or the one that made you lose all patience with the book?
I don't really tend to think of books in terms of favorite scenes and least favorite scenes.

3. How did you enjoy reading to a deadline? Were you strict with yourself? Did you have a schedule? Was the book too long or too short for the time frame of the challenge?

This book was really the perfect length (a bit under 250 pages). If I were reading an ebook, I could do with something longer, but since this was a physical book, it meant that my two main reading times (in bed before going to sleep and on my lunch breaks at work) were times I was reading something other than the book club book. (I don't want to lug a physical book to work and I don't have a bedside lamp, so the only reading I can do is with something that has its own light like my phone.) By reading about twenty pages a day, I was able to keep on track while still being able to miss a day or two if I didn't have time to get to my reading. I didn't really have a set schedule, just tried to keep to about that number of pages each time.

In addition to my book club book, I also finally finished the fic I was reading for what felt like forever!

Fandom: Sherlock (TV), Sherlock Holmes & Related Fandoms

Characters: Sherlock Holmes, John(nie) Watson, Victor(ia) Trevor, Sally Donovan, Original Characters, lots of them
Additional Tags: Genderswap, Alternate Universe - 1950s, Butch/Femme, Gender Issues, Gender Roles, Case Fic, bildungsroman, World War II
Summary: 1955. Under the placid veneer of suburban playparks and middle-class conformity churns a hidden London: femmes and butches dancing close in basement bars; clandestine love between women. To Sherlock Holmes, struggling private detective and mistress of disguise, it’s a realm she renounced years before. To Johnnie Watson, daredevil ambulance driver turned auto mechanic, it’s become a little too familiar. But when someone is murdered in the washroom of the city’s most notorious lesbian club, the investigation will lead both women to reconsider their assumptions about themselves, each other, and the world in which they live.

This was really good! I've not read anything this long in years and the length was definitely daunting, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I definitely found Sherlock more likable as a woman (I'm sure that male!Sherlock is often written in a more likable way in fic than he is on the show, but here it was more that I didn't find the arrogance as off-putting in a female character vs a male character).

What do you think you'll read next?
I just realised I hadn't downloaded this week's Jump, so that for sure! But also in addition to Aozora Yell, I'd like to read at least one other volume of physical manga that I have here on my desk, maybe either Tegami Bachi 15 or Tera Girl 2. Also I would like to read one of the non-manga books on my shelf, something short that I can finish in the two weeks of the book club round, so that I'm ready to start fresh with a new book when the round I'm sitting out ends. A likely candidate is All I Asking for Is My Body by Milton Murayama, since it's only about a hundred pages long.

What are you currently reading?
Able to Fly, another fic by [personal profile] busaikko! I downloaded all these fics so long ago I really have no idea what any of them are anymore, but I figured something with "fly" in the title would be an SGA fic and I was right. XD It's an AU where Stargates exist, but there's also magic (with a vaguely HPish feel) and John and Rodney are teenagers. I'm about halfway through and it's pretty fun so far!

What did you recently finish reading?
More fic, but not as many as last week because they were all longer ones. As for Find a Temple, Build a Temple, which I mentioned in my currently reading section last week, I ended up not liking it much at all. As of my post last week, I said I was enjoying it, but I wasn't very far in. I was still on the part where they were little kids, and tbh, that was the best part.

One thing that kept bugging me once I noticed it was that there are no other named characters besides a handful of canon characters (Dirk, Jake, Jane, Roxy, and Dave, as well as, incredibly randomly, Aranea). It just made things feel really odd, especially when it was characters who were mentioned many times. For example, Dave/Bro is off in Hollywood doing Hollywood things, and doesn't live with Dirk. But since Dirk is still a minor, he hires someone to live with him. There are two different people, first a man and then a woman, and they are both just called "the caretaker". Over and over. It's so weird! Give them names!

I also read a couple other fics, but only one I really loved:

Tangled (28327 words) by thingswithwings
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Community
Rating: Explicit

Relationships: Annie Edison/Abed Nadir, Troy Barnes/Abed Nadir

Summary: "Do you want me to go down on you?" Abed asks, one afternoon, when they're watching My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

This was just super adorable. I'm sure anyone who's interested in Community fic has already read it, since it's incredibly popular, but if you like Community and haven't read it, you should give it a try!

What do you think you'll read next?
More fic, I guess? That seems to be a thing I'm reading a lot of right now. I also have this week's Jump to read.

Wednesday Reading on Thursday

Last night I couldn't write up my post when I wanted to because AO3 was down and I needed to link a bunch of fic, and then when it was back up I was tired and didn't feel like it, so here we are.

What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading Find a Temple, Build a Temple by eggjam, which is a pretty famous Homestuck Dirk/Jake fic that I gather people either love or hate. So far I am enjoying it.

The criticism I've seen has mainly been about how you can't really have good characterisation in an AU like this because Dirk and Jake have such unique circumstances and the events of Homestuck are so out there that just being two guys in a high school AU could never capture their personalities. Or that their relationship in canon is so tied up in being the only two guys in the world that again, just being two guys in high school isn't going to cut it.

But I tend to be pretty forgiving of characterisation, I guess? They don't not feel like Dirk and Jake to me, so idk.

What did you recently finish reading?
Mostly a lot of fanfic. I finished up reading the Kindaichi case I was in the middle of last week and then rather than reading more manga, I decided to check out some of the fic I had loaded up on my ipod. I think I read over ten fics this past week, many of which were in the "long for me" range.

Five recs in Harry Potter, SGA, and Sherlock HolmesCollapse )

What do you think you'll read next?
More fic, almost certainly. I've loaded up all the rest of the fic I had in itunes onto my phone (I don't keep all my books on my phone because ibooks is not good for sorting, so I try to keep just twenty or thirty things that I think I might want to read in the near future), which includes a lot more busaikko (mainly SGA, I think), as well as some random other fics I've downloaded along the way. I should also go back and poke at Yuletide, I suppose, now that I'm in a fic-reading mood.

What are you currently reading?
Well, I'm sure you'll all be surprised to hear I am reading Kindaichi yet again. :p I'm on volume 21 and this volume finishes off the current case, so I think I will attempt to take a break for a bit after this.

Anyway, the case in question is The Magical Express, which is the first case to introduce Takato, a Moriarty-like character who will become a recurring villain for the rest of the series (even appearing in several of the new cases, though not (yet) in the 20th anniversary series).

Since I remembered his name, I knew he was the killer, but I don't remember anything else about the case, so while I know who did it, I don't know how or anything else, so it's still fun to read.

What did you recently finish reading?
I read this week's Jump and wasn't that excited about anything.

I also managed to finish up my library book right before it was due to expire. And I ended up really enjoying it! I wish the rest of the books in the series were out now. We'll see if I remember it when they actually do get released.

As I mentioned last week, the book was The Twelve-Fingered Boy by John Hornor Jacobs. I keep trying to think of something to write for a review and nothing is coming. I rated it four stars on Good Reads and left the review section blank. :-/ (I think I'm burned out on reviewing stuff, idk. I just feel like I have nothing to say anymore...)

Anyway, it's a YA novel about teenage boys with superpowers. It's fun and decently-written and sucked me in pretty quickly.

Oh, and I also read another cute Dave/Karkat fic:

Troll Disease (2499 words) by t34lbloods

CG: AND THEN HE SAYS STUFF AND IT KIND OF.
CG: MAKES ME FEEL BETTER.
GA: That Does Sound Upsetting
GA: I Can See Why You Came To Me

Karkat and Dave stumble into moirallegiance.

What do you think you'll read next?
No idea. I'd really like to read another book and I have the second Newsflesh book open in ibooks, so maybe that? (I've read the first couple chapters already back in November or something, but just wasn't feeling it. I do want to read the rest of the series, though.)

What are you currently reading?
Kindaichi again, of course. :) I'm currently on vol. 19, so I'm getting close to the end of the original series. (I plan on reading the second series, too, though probably not any of the newer ones after that, since it's only been a few years since I read them.)

I'm also reading a book! I mentioned this book either last week or the week before as something I'd checked out from the library, and then I just let it sit there and suddenly realised a couple days ago that, oops, I'd better actually read it or it was going to expire.

It's a young adult fantasy novel called The Twelve-Fingered Boy by John Hornor Jacobs. It's the first book in a trilogy, natch, since no one can ever write a stand-alone book anymore, and apparently just came out last month (which I guess was why it was on the first page of the library's ebooks list when I was browsing), so if I end up wanting to read the rest, there will be a wait, boo.

I've only read the first few chapters so far, but it's okay? I'm not in love with it, but I didn't really expect to be.

What did you recently finish reading?
Aside from the Kindaichi case I was reading last week, I also read volume one of a new manga series called Kono Oto Tomare, which is an adorable series about a high school koto club.

I also read this week's Jump, which was only Bleach and World Trigger, since Naruto and One Piece were off. Iiinteresting developments in Bleach. I'm enjoying this flashback a lot.

I also read a fic!

This was super adorkable! I never gave much thought to Dave/Karkat before, but their interaction in recent updates has just been too cute. Speakercrab!

What do you think you'll read next?
Well, I have six days left on that library book, so hopefully I will finish that up. I also have a few more Dave/Karkat fics I want to check out, and of course there's always more Kindaichi.

If I do this before I go to bed, it's still Wednesday!

What are you currently reading?
Aoi Hana! I'm nearly done with volume five, which is nearing the last of what I've read, I think. I read some magazine chapters, but I don't remember how many. For some reason it's not easy to find raws for this series (even though people are posting scanlations of the magazine chapters).

It's been fun to read this again and all in one go like this. However, I am disappointed to find that reading it all in one go does not make it easier to keep track of stuff. A little bit, definitely, but not all of the problems I had were due to forgetting stuff. I find the large cast hard to distinguish, but the biggest problem is that the story jumps around a lot with nothing to signify that it's a flashback or that months have passed or whatever.

Still, I really love it a lot and will be sad to reach the end of what I have here (just two more volumes). At least volume eight should be out in a couple months and then all this will be fresh in my mind. :)

What did you recently finish reading?
I am now caught up with all my Jump series! Bleach spoilersCollapse )

I also read about ten chapters of Silver Spoon and it continues to be the most adorable series ever. I love it so much! Oh, but I also read vol. 18 of Kimi ni Todoke, which is also super adorable!

I also read some fanfic this week!

Stitching Up Boys (21699 words) by Edoro

Series: Part 1 of Organized Crimestuck
Summary: In which young Church ward Gamzee Makara is finally old enough to be officially initiated into the ranks of the subjugglators.

This is a really interesting fic! Great Gamzee voice. It appears to be part of a series, but it's the backstory and the "present day" part of the story doesn't really interest me, so I don't think I'll read the rest, but this was cool.

At Home After the Fight (1722 words) by Anonymous

This was written for me for [community profile] white_lotus! I love the domesticity of it.

What do you think you'll read next?
The rest of Aoi Hana for sure, and then I don't know.

What are you currently reading?
Oh dear. It's Kindaichi again. So much for reading something else so I had something else to talk about when I did the meme next. :p I can't help it, though! It seems to be what I'm in the mood for, since this time I didn't even have the excuse of the volume ending in the middle of a mystery. Volume 7 wrapped up a mystery and yet I still went right on to vol. 8. ^_^;;

What did you recently finish reading?
I did actually take a break for a while to read some fic, though, so I do have something a little different to talk about! As I mentioned last week, I had loaded a bunch of Adventure Time Yuletide fics on my ipod and was hoping to get to those. Well, I read four of them and I'm not sure if Adventure Time fic is just not for me or if these fics aren't for me. (It's one of those fandoms where I really want the tone of the original and I don't think that's always easy to capture.)

This was my favorite of the ones I read, though, and while I don't really have anything to say about it, you should definitely consider this a rec.

Realistically, more Kindaichi. :p

First off, here's a couple non-Yuletide fics in these two fandoms that I read a while back and never got around to posting:

1 each for Gravity Falls and ParaNormanCollapse )

And now for Yuletide. I really had high hopes for these fandoms, especially Gravity Falls, since a lot of people requested it, but there were only a handful of fics. :(

Fic reviews: Bandom, Glee, HP, Homestuck, Hot Fuzz, Nobuta wo Produce, SPN

Man, I have really not been reading fic much at all these days, but I do read something here and there and have collected some reviews. They mostly kind of suck as reviews, as I can't seem to think of much to say, especially when it's something I read a while back and made the mistake of not reviewing at the time (because I didn't have the energy) and now I've forgotten what it was about. >_<

I like the idea of keeping a record of everything I read, but feeling like I have to review after everything I read has made me avoid reading, I think (though that's not the only reason I haven't been reading fic; a large part of it is just that I have just been reading books or manga instead). Meh. :-/
