Okay, well, the epilogue is still not complete thanks to my having to work more this week than I'd anticipated. (It is coming along, though, and I fully anticipate having it posted later today/tomorrow.) So, in the meantime, here is what used to come after chapter 4. This is a second interlude that starts the Daniel/Armand subplot which I decided to drop in favor of giving the fic a proper ending. I do like it, though, quite a lot, and so I'm posting it here and it will be filed with the abandoned WiPs in my memories.

Some of you may remember this from back in the day. The last part I had posted was starting up a new plot with Armand and Daniel, but since I know I will never finish that, I decided to ditch it and rewrite the ending to stop there with Louis and Lestat. So in the meantime, I will be posting the preceeding chapters one a day, since the fic is too long for one LJ post anyway (without the new ending, it's 73kb, so I predict 85-90 for the total. Anyway, whithout further ado, here is the prologue. The whole fic is terribly purple, but it fits with both the period and the tone of the book, so, er. Forgive me?
