I feel like a fucking zombie, man. :( I slept nine hours, but I don't really feel rested. I think I don't sleep as well in the afternoon, but that's when I've been sleeping all this week so far (Sunday it was because of morning errands, Monday because of the barking dog, Tuesday I don't remember, and this morning I went to breakfast with my mom). I'm gonna try and go to bed earlier tomorrow morning, even if I'm not that tired, because I hate being on this schedule.

Speaking of zombies, just because it was the zombiepocalypse today, don't forget to take my lyrics quiz. (Assuming you're still alive, that is.)

And now for some memes.

1. My username is kyuuketsukirui because 吸血鬼 (kyuuketsuki) means vampire in Japanese. ルイ (rui) is the Japanese way of writing Louis, from Vampire Chronicles.

When I first got this journal, it was meant to be just a fic/art update journal to go with my VC fic site, which was at the time at http://www.geocities.com/kyuuketsukirui/ The reason I'd chosen that for the URL is that I wanted something VC related, but most names would already be taken in English, so I figured I'd do Japanese. And I only thought about myself, and that it would be easy for me to remember. I didn't take into account that others would find it hard to remember, pronounce, and spell. Doh.

But then I started using the journal to comment on other journals and eventually started using it as a real journal (first by just c&ping entries from my real real journal, megchan, and then over time it morphed to where I was writing entries for here and cutting out the fannish stuff and c&ping them over there rather than the other way around) and not just for web updates, and then everyone knew me by this name, so I was sort of stuck with it.

2. My journal is titled BumAccess4All.net because of this Dinosaur Comics strip. It still makes me snort uncontrollably while reading it, which is always the sign of a good comic.

3. My subtitle is Altering the world positively since 2007 because T-Rex said, "I think the world will be altered positively by BumAccess4All Dot Net."

4. My friends page is called Those other guys because that's what you are and I am unimaginative when it comes to that title. Perhaps I should change it to easydudes.com? <_< >_> Done and done. Now for the first time ever, my friends page title matches my journal title and subtitle. Huzzah!

5. My default userpic is this one *points* because I like Ewan and I write a lot about him. I used to switch out default icons more often, but I really like this one and have gotten used to it, so I'll probably keep it for a while longer.

This meme claimed to have seventy questions, but was missing numbers 7-17 as well as quite a few others scattered throughout. When I renumbered it, it turned out to be missing 19 questions altogether. Usually they're missing one or two, but this was a record.

Bruce. Or a wrong number. Anyone else is a pain to talk to.

2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
Well, I don't take it home with me, but I rarely put it in the cart return, just leave it by the car (but out of the way, so it's not like blocking a parking place or anything).

3. If you had to kiss the last person you kissed, would you?
Seeing as the only person I ever kiss is Bruce, yes.

4. Do you take compliments well?
Depends on what they are.

5. Do you play Sudoku?
I have done so exactly once. It was okay, but I don't really need another time-waster.

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness would you survive?
I think so, yeah.

7. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you would take with you?
Laptop.

8. Who was the last person you shared beds with?
Bruce.

9. Who do you text the most?
Bruce, though by "the most" that means like a handful of times ever.

Three Investigators series.

Nah, I'd probably do the same things anyway.

Hundreds! So secret even I don't know about them.

Never been.

Japan.

Yes, actually, both fancy stuff and plain old yellow mustard.

Sleep.

More like my mom, I think, though I don't really look a whole lot like either of them.

Five minutes or so.

No.

I honestly can't think of anything I'm super excited about.

Uh...Erin was here. I think maybe we played Trivial Pursuit or something?

24. Do you think The Grudge was crappy?
No, I actually liked it quite a bit (both Japanese and American).

Yep, it's not that great, though.

Hahahahahahaha. No.

Well, now I'm thinking, "What am I thinking about?" Don't put me on the spot!

29. How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
Usually between six and eight.

30. Do you like Care Bears?
I did when I was little.

31. What do you buy at the movies?
A ticket. Occasionally a soda, but it's so damn expensive. Besides, drinking during the film will just make me have to pee.

32. Do you know how to play poker?
Kind of.

33. Do you wear your seatbelt?
Yeah, it's become automatic now. I never wore one growing up, though, so when they started putting seatbelt laws into effect (when I was in college? I think?), my mom and I had to tape a post-it on the dashboard to remind ourselves to do it after she got a ticket.

34. What do you wear to sleep?
Whatever shirt I was wearing that day + underpants.

35. Anything big ever happen in your town?
Um...yeah? I'm sure a lot of stuff has. I don't live in some hick town, dude.

36. Is your hair straight or curly?
Straight. It gets a bit wavy, little flip to the ends, when it gets past my jaw, but that's about it. If it grows past my shoulders, it pulls any wave straight.

37. Is your tongue pierced?
No, and it never will be. I actually like my teeth, thanks.

38. Do you like Liver and Onions?
I don't know, as I've never had it. I'm reluctant to eat organ meat, though. It just looks kind of nasty.

39. Do you like funny or serious people better?
Funny.

40. Ever been to LA?
Los Angeles? Yes, I was there this morning to have breakfast with my mom.
Louisiana? Nope.
Lower Alabama? Nope, and no desire ever to go, thanks.

(One time when my grandparents were driving across country, they stopped somewhere in Colorado and chatted with another couple at the hotel or restaurant or wherever, and said they were from LA. The couple said, "Lower Alabama?" My grandparents said, "...")

41. Who is on your mind right now?
My grandparents, I guess, since I just finished writing about them in the above question.

42. Any plans for tonight?
I'ma try and get a script done after writing this meme, and maybe Dee will be on later and we can tag. Also need to get some lyrics done and maybe do some writing.

43. What's your favorite song at the moment?
Uh...I think My Eyes off the new Travis album, actually.

44. Do you hate chocolate?
No, but I don't much like it plain. As coating for candy bars or See's-type chocolates or as an ingredient in cookies or something, sure.

45. What do you and your parents fight about the most?
I've actually always got on well with my mom. The closest thing I can think of to a fight is her nagging me for years to go to church, but she's given up on that now.

46. Are you a gullible person?
No.

47. Do you need a boyfriend/girlfriend to be happy?
No. Good job, too, or I'd have been unhappy the majority of my life.

48. If you could have any job what would it be?
Not having a job.

49. Are you easy to get along with?
I don't know. I suppose I probably am to people who are more like me and less so to people who are very different to me.

50. What is your favorite time of day?
Middle of the night. Like now. :)

51. Are you a generally happy person?
Yes. Or rather, I'm not unhappy. I just am. I think of happy as being very excited about something in particular, which I'm, of course, not always. It sounds exhausting. But I'm never depressed and am generally optimistic.
