I know in the past I've tended to crap out on these sorts of things, but swear to God, I will draw them all and do so in a timely manner.
So come on, comment. You, too, could get something like "Liam Neeson + Jason Isaacs + Star Trek + Powerpuff Girls" or "Dom's painted toenails + Frodo Baggins".

A link on fandom_lounge led me to this site with custom My Little Ponies. Check out the Jack Sparrow one in particular. Not only is it immediately recognisable (which most of the ones based on characters aren't), but the level of detail is amazing. There's also Wednesday Addams and Snape and Thestrals.

I got an email from Erin tonight, which is frankly quite amazing because she's always been terrible at keeping in touch, but she actually found a Japanese-style karaoke place in Northern Virginia. The only problem is the smallest room is $30 an hour. Yipes. There are places here that are that expensive for nighttime rates (though I think usually more like $25 for a small (up to four people) room), but we always go during the cheap hours ($3 per person/hour from 1-8 on Mon-Thu and $4 per person/hour for the same hours on Fri-Sun).
Anyway! I asked her how things were going with Caleb, because when she was here she'd said she was planning on leaving him, at least temporarily, and had already got an apartment with a friend. She said she's been staying at this apartment since she got back from LA (which is almost a month and a half now) and doesn't really miss him at all.
Meanwhile, it's not had much effect on him. It's not like he was cheating or had an alcohol or drug problem or anything. She just got sick of his chauvinistic attitide and immaturity, and he's refused to listen to her or do anything about it. She had told him early last year some things he needed to work on if she was going to stay with him, and by the end of the year he hadn't done a thing, had refused to go to marriage counselling, and kept whining that he liked the old Erin better (in other words, the one who'd waited on him and generally been a good little wife).
None of our offline friends seem to have much luck with marriage. Between Bruce's and mine, there are only three out of nine whose marriages have lasted, and all of the ones that got divorced (or are on their way to it, in Erin's case) got married after us, too.

I saw this link on
When I first saw it, I was like, aw, too bad I don't have enough to contribute. But then I looked through my stuff and was surprised to find not only did I have three, but I had too many and had to choose between them.
The three I chose to submit were:
Another Drink (Seinfeld, Elaine/George)
Everything Falls Apart (Vampire Chronicles, Claudia gen)
Rude Awakening (Brokeback Mountain, Alma gen)
Those are my favorites. But I also have the following fics with female POV characters:
Christmas Morning (Establishment-verse, Carrie-Anne Moss/Liam Neeson/Jason Isaacs)
Dream Diary (Mina de Malfois, Mina/Arc)
Home (Bleach, Rukia gen)
If... (Vampire Chronicles, Claudia gen)[1]
Sharing (Hannah Wood/Dom Monaghan/Elijah Wood)
And these where female characters play a large role:
Anywhere but Here (Ewan McGregor/Jude Law, Jude Law/Rachel Weisz)
Confessions Part 3 (Vampire Chronicles, Claudia & Louis/Lestat)[2]
Memories of Things You've Never Known (The Dark Is Rising, Bran/Jane, Bran/Will)
Now Is Greater Than the Whole of the Past (Hannah Wood/Dom Monaghan/Elijah Wood)
Sleeping with Ghosts (Harry Potter, Sirius/Remus, Remus/Tonks)
Substitute (Harry Potter, Draco/Pansy)
Talking About It (Ewan McGregor/Jude Law, Ewan McGregor/Carrie-Anne Moss)
Things We're Not Meant to Remember (Vampire Chronicles, Claudia & Louis/Lestat)[3]
[1] My first ever fanfic!
[2] This chapter is all about them as a family (in fact, since I haven't been able to ever finish the epilogue that would wrap this series up, I've been thinking I'll just split them up into four indiviual fics).
[3] Sequel to Another Chance, which is Louis/Lestat (with a very small amount of Claudia, but the sequel is entirely about her).
And yeah, considering the number of fics I've written, that's a small percentage. I'm just surprised there's even this much, considering I usually think of myself as writing slash almost exclusively.
